On September 22, 2021, there was a collision at the point where Adams Avenue and Beach Boulevard intersect that killed a quinquagenarian motorcyclist. Dispatchers arrived at the spot immediately after they were informed of the vehicular accident.
As per reports, the victim was northbound on his Harley Davidson bike along Beach Boulevard. It struck a Toyota SUV that was southbound as well as turning left through an area with no traffic light to protect motorists and other drivers.
The officers who came to the spot found the motorist unconscious there. Soon after, the man was declared dead because of the gravity of his state. The Toyota driver is thought to be a nonagenarian man from Huntington Beach and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. That said, the identity of the man has not been disclosed as yet. Further circumstances that caused the collision remain unclear, but an active probe is underway.
